Versatility of Scooters
If you have twins or two young children under the age of two or three, you.ve got your hands full. One toddler walking and the younger child in a pushchair can lead to stressful situations. A trip to the shops or the park can be a nightmare. It.s much safer and easier to have them strapped into a pushchair when walking along a busy road. This way, you have complete control over them. It.s much faster to take your toddlers and babies strolling in a pushchair, too.
Of course you will need a pushchair that holds both infants at the same time so a tandem pushchair is the best option. The upside is that if they need a nap, they can just fall asleep when they want to. Seats tend to be a bit wider, so they are more comfortable than double pushchairs. Tandem pushchairs are much easier to navigate than the double pushchairs, which places the children side by side. Negotiating kerbs and bumpy pavements will be much easier with a tandem pushchair. You could even go for a jog with them or if you feel like it, you can take your scooter along, for some much needed 'me' time. If you opt for the fixed-wheel or swivel-wheel joggers, this will enable you to push them with ease.
Tandem pushchairs have one seat in front of the other. One seat reclines fully, making it suitable for newborns. The other seat sits more upright. This is in mind with toddlers aged from two to four years old. There is a three-wheeled tandem pushchair available, which has your toddler sitting up front, while your baby lies flat at the back, facing you. This is a much better option for you to keep an eye on the baby and makes for easier interaction. Here below are some of the pros and cons of having tandem pushchairs.
Plus points of tandem pushchairs:
-They are better if you have a baby and a toddler, as they can.t see each other and it makes it more difficult for your toddler to disturb your sleeping baby.
-They are slimmer and easier to navigate through doorways.
On the down side:
-They are heavier and less stable than a double pushchair.
-If your toddler is fidgeting in the front, they can be harder to stabilise.
